The results are In: GOLD: Return to Freedom’s HorsePlay, Morse Wines 2011 Estate Blend,2014 Amador Fair Wine Competition. Return to Freedom is very happy with the results. The First Public tasting of our HorsePlay Red will be at the Amador County Fair Wine Tasting Event, Friday evening, July 25thHorsePlay is a Limited Edition Wine produced by Morse Wines of Fiddletown to help support Return to Freedom - American Wild Horse Sanctuary. Each bottle features a specially crafted wine label with art by famed equine artist, Donna Bernstein.

What:              BloodSource will hold a Veterans Community blood drive to meet the community’s needs for blood and blood products.  All walk-ins are welcome.  The drive is sponsored by the VFW 8254, DAV 118 and the American Legion 108.  Participates earn MyBloodSource rewards.  Redeem your rewards online for great items like a movie pass or Baskin Robbins coupon!

 

About Blood Donation:

Donating blood is safe, easy and takes about an hour.  Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, be at least 17 years old (16 with a signed BloodSource Parental consent form) and be generally healthy. There is no upper age limit for blood donations.  Donors must bring a photo ID and should drink plenty of fluids before donating. Potential marrow donors can register for Be the Match through BloodSource.  Find more information at www.bloodsource.org
