Stolen Fishing Pole Hooks Car Thieves After Amador County Sheriff's Deputies Chase Down Suspects
A ”Be On The Look Out” was issued for two men in a green Toyota RAV4 that
had reportedly stolen a fishing pole at the Bear River Reservoir. A
resident at Bear River Reservoir called in a complaint to the Sheriff's Office
that someone had stolen a fishing poll and a can of gas from his residence. The
resident was able to
provide law enforcement with a license plate number for the thieves, and Amador
County Sheriff’s Dispatch reported that the plate came back to a stolen motor
vehicle.

Jackson Planning Commission To Send Admonishment To Developer That Did Not Follow Ruling
The Jackson Planning Commission met last night and one of the
items before them was the review of the Conditional Use Permit for K. Hovnanian
Forecast Homes Temporary Model Home Sales Office. On November 20, 2006 the Planning Commission
reviewed the businesses request for a conditional use permit to operate their
temporary model home sales office in Pine Meadows subdivision on Scottsville
Boulevard. At that time the office included signs and flags, which many nearby
residents said were not appropriate for a residential neighborhood.

CHP Reports: 4 Motorcycle Accidents Over Weekend
The last couple of weekends Amador County
roadways have been fairly quiet, but by the time Friday rolled around it was clear
that this weekend would be different. The first accident to be reported
occurred on Friday at 11:15am on Hwy. 88 and Van De Hei Ranch Road.

Motorcyclist Down: Major Injury Accident Yesterday
A Folsom man suffered major injuries yesterday
afternoon in a single vehicle collision involving him and his Harley. The
accident occurred at about 12:13 pm on Sutter Creek Rd. The man, who remains
unidentified, was airlifted from Westover Field to Mercy San Juan Hospital. The
collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
