Ione city council members at their meeting tonight will be discussing in closed session existing litigation pursuant to Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board the discussion is scheduled for 30 minutes, Later on in its agenda a public hearing on the Wildflower Development Agreement Introduction and first reading of an ordnance adopting a development agreement with Wildflower Investments, LLC for the Project and subsequently canceling the Development Agreement with Rylan Homes Inc. will be heard this hearing is a continuation from the Sept. 4th meeting. Also on the Agenda Ione Train depot Relocation Project Update and a Waste Water Project update and authorization for the City to change agreements related to the Castle Oaks Water Reclamation Plant. Learn how to support local, sustainable agriculture at the Mother Lode Harvest Fall Quarter Open House on Sunday, September 30, from noon to 4 pm at 1235 Jackson Gate Road in Jackson, behind Teresa's Restaurant. Mother Lode Harvest (MLH) is a local food and farm products association made up of producer members who use sustainable growing practices, and customer members who enjoy access to healthy, local food year-round. The open house is an opportunity for the public to meet MLH's producer members, talk to them about their growing practices, and sample some of their tasty products.
