ARTS Director James Means Resigns

slide1.pngAmador County – The Amador Regional Transit System announced that its director of 10 months, James Means has resigned his position effective Tuesday. His departing was described as amiable by ARTS Board of Directors Chairman Greg Baldwin, who announced the resignation in a release at 10:20 a.m. today (Wednesday, April 7th). ARTS communications consultant Terry Grillo released Baldwin statement by e-mail. Baldwin in the announcement said “ARTS Transit Manager James Means resigned his position effective yesterday, April 6th.” Baldwin said: “The separation was amiable” and “we thank Mr. Means for his service to transit in Amador County and wish him well in his future endeavors.” Grillo was unsure whether the resignation was related to a reorganization of county departments approved by the Amador County Board of Supervisors earlier Tuesday. Grillo said any replacement for the position would be decided by the ARTS board of directors. Grillo said “the transit system will continue running and the busses will be on time.” Story by Jim Reece This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
