Amador County - The Amador Aviation Alliance is inviting the public to come to Westover Field, 12380 Airport Road, Martell on Saturday, October 2nd. Several rotorcraft will be on hand to view and talk to the crew, including the local firefighting helicopters, the local medical helicopter, and tours through the largest helicopter in the US Army's fleet, a California National Guard CH-47D Chinook, with 2 engines, and tandem rotors able to lift 24,000 pounds!
