Gold Country Lanes said USA Bowling is a new model for youth bowling. The structure is similar to other youth sports, in that it is team-based and consists of one coach per team of four bowlers, regular practice and weekly matches against other teams in the same division.

The three divisions are under 10, under 12 and under 14 as of Aug. 1 of the prior year. You may register at Gold Country Lanes on Jan. 21 or 28 at 10 a.m., or on Jan. 25 at 3:30 p.m., or stop by Gold Country Lanes any time and fill out a form.

Practice sessions begin Jan. 21 and competition starts Feb. 17. Teams will have the opportunity to schedule their matches on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings. The final day of bowling will be March 24.

The $75 fee covers all the bowling, shoe rental, and a shirt. For more information call John Henness or John Swift at (209) 223-3334.
