Amador Resource Conservation District plans rainwater harvesting workshop

Wouldn't you like to utilize the rain that falls on your house, field or
shop to grow your garden, recharge groundwater or provide fire
protection? On Saturday, September 22nd from 1 to 5 pm, the Amador
Resource Conservation District presents a workshop on rainwater
harvesting and storage. The workshop will be taught by Sean Kriletich,
a foothill farmer and agricultural consultant, with first hand knowledge
and experience with a variety of rainwater harvesting scenarios. The
cost per participant will be $20 and refreshments will be provided.

Why: Whether we are homeowners, gardeners, farmers, ranchers, winery
owners, builders or vineyard owners we could all use extra water. This
workshop will cover all aspects of rainwater harvesting and storage from
the drops falling on your roof or field, to storage and utilization. 
You will leave this workshop with the principles of rainwater
harvesting, storage, and utilization as well as the knowledge you need
to install a system and information on the costs involved.
Cost: $20 per participant ($10 for each additional participant from the
