ACTC seeking nominations for members to serve on Social Service Transportation Advisory Council

The Amador County Transportation Commission (ACTC) is seeking nominations for two members to serve on its Social Service Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC).  The SSTAC is currently a twelve-member body that advises the ACTC concerning transit needs of transit dependent persons in Amador County as well as efforts to coordinate transportation services provided by various organizations serving Amador County. 

The two SSTAC positions to be filled must be able to represent two specific categories as follows: one (1) representative of potential transit users who is 60 years of age or older and, one (1) representative of local social service providers for seniors. 

To be nominated a person must submit a brief statement concerning their background and expertise in relation to the position to be filled and a reason why they feel they would be a valuable participant on the SSTAC.  Nominations are due to the ACTC at 117 Valley View Way, Sutter Creek, CA  95685 (email: This email address is being protected from spambots. All persons nominated should attend the ACTC meeting scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on April 17, 2014.
