Sierra Cascades Dialog Session planned for April 4th

Please join us for the next in a the series of Dialogs to discuss critical issues that affect the Sierra Nevada and the Cascades as well as the people who live, work, and recreate there. Participants are invited to ponder the future, specifically the management of national forests, and gain an understanding of different perspectives. Dialogs bring together stakeholders and US Forest Service representatives from throughout the state representing the entire Sierra Cascades for an opportunity for aligned actions.

Forest Stakeholders each have an idea, concept or desire for the future of the National Forests. Participants will be asked to identify ways that the Forest Service can work with diverse interests to identify desired conditions that have broad agreement as the agency revises the management plans for national forests in the Sierra Nevada and Cascades.

The insights and ideas shared in the dialog among participants and USDA Forest Service staff will inform the long-term planning and decision making regarding our forests’ sustainability. Come learn about other communities and stakeholders; come lend your voice to the conversation.
