San Andreas – On May 6th and 7th CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit will hold its second annual Mother Lode inmate fire crew readiness exercise. The two day event will be held at two locations in the Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit. CAL FIRE crews will be required to perform skills at both locations during the two day exercise. The media is requested to attend the specified locations on the correlating dates for logistical reasons.

TIME: 900 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

EVENTS: Dozer and helicopter safety. Fire engine orientation and fire hose deployment. Fire shelter deployment exercise.
