The backstory: In 2010, I organized an Earthquake Preparedness Game in San Francisco through my job as a game producer at The Go Game. It received widespread attention, and now I've been given the opportunity to produce disaster preparedness games nationwide. I am fortunate to work for a company that allows us to pursue projects that are near and dear to our hearts. With the unprecedented drought conditions and alarming wildfires last summer, nothing is closer to my heart than the safety of Amador County, my home. Which is why I wanted to volunteer my efforts to organize this wildfire preparedness game.
Here is where I can use your help:
1) Spread the word! Please invite friends, family, neighbors, etc. The more the merrier...
2) Volunteers. At least 10 people to help organize the various safety stations and make sure the event runs smoothly.
3) Ideas and feedback. If you think there is a way we can make this event better for everyone, please let me know?
