5.0 Public Comments: Any person may address the Board at this time upon any subject within the Jurisdiction of the Amador Country Unified District Board of Trustees; however, any matter that requires action may be referred to staff and/or Committee for a report and recommendation for possible action at a subsequent Board Meeting. Please note - 20 minutes total on any subject or 3 minutes per speaker.
6.0 Discussion / Action
6.1 Ad Hoc Committee Governing Board's Response to the 2013-2014 Civil Amador County Civil Grand Jury Report: The Amador County Civil Grand Jury received and investigated several alleged complaints and violations of conduct and school board procedures and they have submitted a final report. The Governing Board has 90 days (by September 22, 2014) to respond to the findings of the 2013-2014 Amador County Civil Grand Jury's Final Report to Amador Country Superior Court Judge Hermanson. The Governing Board voted 3 (ayes)- 2 (noes) at their August 13, 2014 Governing Board meeting to serve as their own Ad Hoc Committee in response to the Amador County Civil Grand Jury's findings and recommendations.
6.2 Consideration for Possible Second Meeting of the ACUSD Governing Board Ad Hoc Committee: The Governing Board Ad Hoc Committee will need to determine if a second Special Meeting is needed to complete the draft response to the 2013-2014 Amador County Civic Grand Jury Report.
