2015 Plymouth Farmers Market Starts Thursday, August 6th

Farmers Market Association Gearing Up for Another Great Year

A Farmers Market for Everyone

Plymouth, California. June 24, 2015.  The Rotary Club of Plymouth-Foothills is once again sponsoring the Plymouth Farmers Market, held every Thursday, 4 pm to 7:00 pm, from August 6th  through September 24th, on the shady grass of McGeePark in historic Main St, Plymouth, CA.

The Plymouth Farmers Market is known as a pleasant gathering place to not only purchase fresh produce, but to enjoy live music while having a glass of wine and small plate dinner – all in a grassy, shaded park. The ambiance of the park setting creates a feeling of relaxation. Spread out your picnic blanket, or take a table under a shady tree, and mingle with your family, friends and neighbors. Hum along to music while you stroll through the park to shop for edible delights like homemade jams, jellies, baked goods, and organic produce. You will find varied vendors each week for things like jewelry, soap, olive oil, candy and more.

Dinner and wine are a treat you won’t want to miss. Every week a different food purveyor will provide a unique dinner sure to satisfy your foodie palate. The wine is also provided by a different winery every week, with 100% of sales proceeds going to our fund raising effort.

A Great Cause

Growing the Plymouth Farmers Market into a successful community event is the goal of the Rotary Club of Plymouth-Foothills. Rotary raises money for community causes while promoting local farming and creating a pleasant experience for our neighbors. We contribute to local schools, provide student scholarships and Rotary Youth Leadership Camps.

New Vendors Welcome

If you’d like to sell your products at the Plymouth Farmers Market, we urge you to give us a call. Produce Vendors should be certified (a simple process); then just show up and choose a location for your table. Vendor spots are $15 per event. If you do not need produce certification, you are welcome to show up to any Thursday market afternoon. Be sure and get there well before 4pm to get your spot and set up before the market begins. Again this year, local non-profit organizations are invited to present their information at the market at no charge to their group.  Call the number above to schedule a table.
