Bill Haigh, Folsom Field Office manager for the BLM stated that when this plan is completed, it will provide resource management direction and guidance for more than 230,000 acres of BLM-administered public lands scattered throughout fourteen Central California counties: including Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Mariposa, Merced, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tuolumne, and Yuba counties. "It is important that people look over the draft plan, see what we've done, and let us know what they think," Haigh said, "The results of public review are always considered when the time comes to make a final decision." Copies of the draft Sierra RMP/EIS are available from the Folsom Field Office, 63 Natoma Street, Folsom, CA 95630, or on line at www.ca.blm.gov/folsom.
