Ryan said that his concern was that, if the case goes to arbitration, the 300,000 dollar amount allocated in an arbitration agreement would not come close to addressing the impacts, and the community would have to accept the results of those limited resources. Under the Intergovernmental Services Agreement, Amador’s law enforcement and criminal justice departments would receive 2.7 million dollars, and actual expenses for booking fees and daily rates for incarcerations. The Board of Supervisors makes a decision regarding the Buena Vista Casino at their board meeting on Tuesday, February 26 at 9AM.
