·       Members of ACTC’s stakeholder working group spoke in support of a hybrid 3-lane improvement project on Highway 88 in Pine Grove.

·       Jackson City Council OK’d a contract adjustment to address $44,000 in deterioration found in filters at the city wastewater treatment plant.

·       Prescribed burns were planned this week by Cal-Fire on Tiger Creek and Salt Springs roads, and by the U.S. Forest Service on Highway 88 near Hams Station.

·       Sutter Creek Police has won a $3,500 grant to replace old ballistic vests.

·       Amador Fire Safe Council has set its first “stakeholder meeting” for a Community Conservation Wildfire Protection Plan in Pine Grove.
