·       A vehicle theft and pursuit ended in a fatal crash, and death of the suspect early Tuesday in Jackson.

·       The suspect killed Tuesday in Jackson was wanted for attempted murder of 2 San Joaquin Sheriff Deputies after a pursuit, crash and gunplay Nov. 26, 2011.

·       Dan Lungren introduced a bill that would award $1 billion dollars to a U.S. builder that can mass-produce a 100-mile-per-gallon gasoline-powered car.

·       CHP & ACSO were investigating a vehicle pursuit that ended in a fatal crash early Tuesday in Jackson.

·       Two Pine Grove residents were named to the 2011 President’s list at Columbia College.

·       A Somerset man was arrested for felony DUI following an injury crash on Shenandoah Road Saturday.
