First up On the Agenda for discussion and possible action is Amador County Code §19.32.010.J for 5 wineries located in the Latrobe, Willow Creek, Hwy 124, and Drytown areas; and variance to exceed the 10 square foot maximum allowed [proposal is for a 10’ X 20’ (200 sq. ft.) and 5’ X 10’ (50 sq. ft.) signs] (APNs 008-120-004 and -044). Applicant: West End Consortium (Suzanne Kreutzer, rep.) located in Supervisorial District V. The Location is on the north and south sides of Hwy 16, east of Carbondale Road and DeMartini Road in the Plymouth area. NOTE: Per the applicant’s request, this item will be continued to the January 8, 2013 Planning Commission meeting.
Next up ITEM 2 - Request for a Use Permit to allow an outdoor (mobile recovery and recycling center) on property zoned “C1,” Retail Commercial and Office District and “C2,” Heavy Commercial District use on weekends only (APN 030-180-029-000). Applicant: Capital City Recovery and Recycling (Josh Olmstead, rep.) Located in Supervisorial District IV. The location is on the south side of Hwy 88 between the Ridge Rd. and Irishtown Rd. intersections, being 19660 Hwy 88 in Pine Grove (former Ace Hardware store).
Up next is Item 3 – Request for a renewable Use Permit to allow the use of 2 recreational vehicle units for a watchman/caretaker’s quarters and a change room/lunchroom/restroom facility in support of a mining claim on BLM land for a period of 2 years (APN 023-070-025-000). The Applicant is Carl Schaefer and Dale Schaefer Located in Supervisorial District III the Location is on On BLM land located on the south side of Creekside Ln. about ½ mile east of Pioneer Creek Rd. in the Pioneer area.
Last up is Item 4 - Continued - Environmental Document Determination and Possible Project Decision for Tentative Parcel Map No. 2838 proposing the division of 12.06 acres into two parcels of approximately 6.08 and 5.89 acres in size; and a request for a variance to Amador County Code §17.28.060 (easements to follow lot lines) (APN 038-260-031-000). Applicant: Pardula Living Trust located in Supervisorial District IV. The location is at the southeast corner of the intersection of Spagnoli Mine Rd. and Mierkey Rd. about ½ mile east of Irishtown Rd. in the Pine Grove area.
