Current City logos may be incorporated into the design but are not required. DO NOT USE YOUR NAME OR INITIALS ON YOUR ENTRY. When submitted to the City of Jackson, all entries must have attached, in some manner, a sealed envelope containing the name, address and telephone number of the contestant. When received, the entries and the envelopes will be left in the care of the City Clerk and the sealed envelopes will not be opened until the contest is over and the selection of the winner has been made by the judges. The drawing and explanations must not contain any personal identifying marks of any kind.
The winning entry will be awarded an original flag (display size) of their design. The decision of the City Council will be final. The design selected by the City Council may be modified for reproduction by the flag company producing the flags. The ENTRY DEADLINE is Friday, September 28, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. You can mail or deliver your entry to City of Jackson Flag Contest, 33 Broadway, Jackson, CA 95642. Relatives of judges are not eligible to participate. The winner will be selected at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 9, 2007.
