Breast Cancer Awareness Forum Announced
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States. It is estimated that about 178-thousand women & 2-thousand men in the United States will be found to have invasive breast cancer in 2007.
Next month, Sutter Amador Hospital, as part of National Breast Cancer
Awareness, will host a forum for Amador County residents to learn more
about Preventative measures you can take to lower your risks. Also to be
discussed are the advanced diagnostic tools available at Sutter Amador
Hospital, including digital mammography, ultrasound & other technology, as
well as other women’s health topics. The Forum Presenters are familiar faces as
well. They are Christine Sullivan, PhD, Certified Nurse Midwife & Manager
of Sutter Amador Women’s Services and Renee Devaney, Sutter Amador Hospital
Mammography Supervisor. Space is limited so call 257-7619 to reserve your seat. The date is Thursday, October 4th
