Weekend Motorcycle Accident Seriously Injures Two
Sunday afternoon around 1 pm a motorcycle versus vehicle accident was reported 3 miles east of Ham’s Station.
The accident blocked the roadway completely for 45 minutes while emergency personnel including Amador Fire Protection District Battalion 10 and CDF Fire Personnel attended to the victims. A 60 year old female passenger on the motorcycle was transported by American Legion Ambulance to an awaiting helicopter at the CDF Pine Grove Camp helispot The driver of the motorcycle, a 61 year old male, was transported via American Legion to the helispot at Lumberyard for air transport as well. Both victims were transported to Sutter Roseville Hospital. The roadway was opened to one lane about 45 minutes after the collision and was completely opened after clean up by about 3 pm. This accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol
