The attacker has been linked to assaults on 10 women in six counties since 1991. Police are working with the FBI to construct a profile of the man -- who studies and stalks his victims before he attacks. The rapist often blindfolds and binds his victims with duct tape -- and sometimes calls afterward to apologize. His latest assaults involved two victims in Sacramento last month. He has also struck in Rohnert Park, Vallejo, Martinez, Woodland, Davis and Chico. Authorities describe the man as a large white man in his late 30s or early 40s with brown spiked hair and a protruding belly driving a white Toyota SUV, similar to a 4-runner.
