slide2This toy drive is one of the largest and most successful in the county and serves our local community by collecting and distributing hundreds upon hundreds of toys per year to needy families. Through the continued generosity of the citizens and businesses of Amador County, the Amador County Sheriff’s Department once again hopes to provide a memorable Christmas for children during the holidays by providing toys for families in need. Those wishing to donate new, unwrapped toys may drop them off at collection boxes at the following locations: Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Dollar Tree, Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve, Jackson Rotary Club at Canine Clippers, Plymouth City Hall, Play It Again Sports, Albertsons, Dr. Curry’s Dentist Office in Plymouth, Longs, Safeway, and the Amador County Sheriff’s Office Lobby. Sheriff’s Office T.E.A.M. Deputies will be distributing the toys at St. Sava Mission, located at 604 Broadway in Jackson, on December 16, 2006 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
