Officers sworn in for the 2006-2007 calendar year are as follows: Carole Sooy, President; Mary Ann Taylor, 1st Vice President; Grace Nolan, 2nd Vice President and Membership Chair; Kay Polk, Secretary; Barbara Long, Treasurer and Kathy Glunt, Parliamentarian. Service awards were also presented to the following members for reaching a landmark number of service hours: Pat Richardson—60 hours, Kathleen Clark—60 hours, Merry Frazzetta—1,000 hours, Lila Regan—2,000 hours, Barbara Fogg—3,000 hours and Vern Tyrell—14,500 hours. The Auxiliary contributes to Sutter Amador Hospital in many ways. Members volunteer their time to a variety of areas including the gift shop, concierge cart, information desk, thrift shop and various departments throughout the hospital. Funds raised by the Auxiliary are returned to the hospital in the form of needed medical equipment for patient care services. Over the years, they have also provided many scholarships for nursing students and others studying a clinical field. Through these investments in the hospital and in the caregivers, our Auxiliary helps ensure quality medical care for our community. New members are always welcome! Sutter Amador Hospital Auxiliary Completes Pledge
During the annual Sutter Amador Hospital Auxiliary installation ceremony held on Monday, September 18th, outgoing president Kathy Glunt presented a check for $20,000 to Anne Platt, CEO. The check represents the final installment of a $100,000 pledge the Auxiliary made in support of the hospital’s Outpatient Services Center.
