According to Investigating Officer Michael Lemasters report, Elaina Cazaad was westbound on Jackson Gate Road and stopped for the posted stop sign at Hwy. 49 at the 4 way stop sign. Ann Scales was northbound on Hwy. 49 and stopped for the posted Stop Sign at Jackson Gate Road. As Cazaad proceeded through the intersection, Scales proceeded as well, stating to officers that she did a quick look before entering the intersection. The front of Scales 1986 Chevy collided into the right rear of Cazaad’s 2006 Ford. The momentum of Scales vehicle caused it to continue in a north east direction off the roadway where it collided into a street sign. The vehicle continued in a north east direction into the field for about 100 feet until finally coming to rest. According to the report neither Scales nor Cazaad were injured in the accident.
