San Joaquin County is now exploring the idea as well. Proposed changes to Highway 88 through Clements and Lockeford will be discussed at a public meeting next week. The proposals include widening of the regional main street, which is Hwy 88, and/or the construction of a bypass. Members of the public will have an opportunity to give feedback. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Clements Fire House, 18901 E. Highway 88. Information: (209) 464-4350 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
