Recycle Your Used Tires For Free At Waste Management’s Tire Amnesty

Amador Co. Waste ManagementSaturday, October 14, 2006 the Amador County Waste Management Department will be collecting used (waste) tires from Amador County residents for recycling.

Amador Co. Waste ManagementAmador County residents may bring up to nine (9) passenger, light truck, farm and ranch tires (no rims) to 12200 Airport Road, Jackson at the Gravel Parking Lot on October 14, 2006, from 9:00a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The cost? Absolutely Free. (Tires will not be accepted before or after the October 14th event) California State law allows for the transportation of no more than nine (9) tires per vehicle. The CHP may cite vehicles transporting more than nine (9) tires. This event is not available to tire dealers, shops, or other commercial businesses. The one-day only Tire Amnesty Collection Event is a joint effort of the Amador County Waste Management Department and the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
