Sutter Amador Hospital
announces the birth of the first baby born in Amador County
in 2007, Quaidin Jerry
Gutierrez. Parents Jennifer and John Ray Gutierrez happily welcomed their new
son into the world on Tuesday, January 2nd at 6:36 p.m. Even though he was born
a month early, Quaidin Jerry was born weighing a healthy 5 lbs 2 oz and
measuring 17-1/2 inches in length.
Jennifer and John Ray moved
from the Bay Area to Amador
County so they could be
closer to family. According to the new parents, the care they received from the
doctors and nurses at Sutter
Amador Hospital
was “wonderful”. To celebrate the first baby born in 2007, the staff from Sutter Amador
Hospital’s Family Birth
Center presented the
Gutierrez family with a gift basket full of newborn supplies including diapers,
diaper wipes, ointments, baby clothes, teddy bears, and more. The Family Birth
Center nurses lovingly
donated all items in the gift basket.
Quaidin was not only the first baby born in Amador County
in 2007 but is also Jennifer and John Ray’s first born as well.
