The
Amador Vintners and the Amador Council on Tourism have hooked up for a joint
venture which will culminate in the Grand Opening of the
New Amador Visitors Center in
Plymouth on Friday August 10th 1 P.M. – 7 P.M.
Located at 9310 Pacific Street on Hwy 49 in
Plymouth the new office will
be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
on weekends to provide visitors with comprehensive information,
including maps and other goodies (but, alas, no wine tasting). The new Amador
Visitor Center is the perfect model of a successful joint tourism effort of
which we can all be very proud. Refreshments catered by Beth Soggard. Official
ribbon cutting is scheduled at 6 p.m. Overflow parking available at Harold
Colburn Park across Highway 49. For a complete schedule of the afternoon’s
