Information gathered from public input from the original scoping period, the draft EIS comment period in February 2006, and two open houses was used to modify and improve the alternatives. Forest Supervisor Ramiro Villalvazo said that public input on this project was extremely useful in modifying the study to minimize the effects to the natural resources and scenic values and improve the overall recreation experience.
