deputy at $110,000, a jail correctional officer at $67,200 and a crime analyst
at $53,750 •Amador County District Attorney’s Office for victim/witness
advocate at $18,090
•For the city of Sutter Creek two law enforcement police vehicles at $
57,208 and Amador Plan fire protection
services at $7,558
•City of Jackson for a law enforcement motorcycle received
$31,000, $25,740 for cameras for fire protection services and for IT infrastructure
at $18,500
•Amador
Fire Protection District for the Amador Plan fire protection services at
$144,441
•Amador County Probation Department for probation officer staffing at
$83,338.
The Amador County Local Indian Gaming Benefit Committee, with the sponsorship of the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, forwarded the approved grants to the State Controller's Office. Priorities for funding have been established by the state, and include such things as law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical services, environmental impacts, youth programs, health, water supplies, waste disposal and roads. The County, its cities, and special districts within the County affected by tribal gaming are eligible to apply for grants.
