Under state law, LAFCO is
mandated to ensure the logical formation and determination of the local
government agency boundaries, which affect growth and development patterns,
delivery of urban services, and agricultural and open space lands within Amador
County. Regular meetings are on the third Thursday at 7:00 p.m. This notice
re-opens the application period. If you wish to be considered for the Public Member Alternate
position on LAFCO, please submit a letter of interest and your qualifications.
