The Amador Co. Sheriff’s
Dept. is currently investigating a robbery that occurred this morning at the
Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel. According to Law Enforcement Officials they were contacted by tribal
police regarding a robbery that occurred when a male subject met up with a female suspect in the
casino and they subsequently returned to a hotel room together.
The
female suspect then left the room and returned with another male suspect who
held his hand in his pocket implying that he had a firearm, although a firearm
was never seen nor did he ever threaten that he had one.
The male and female said that they needed some money and went through the
wallets of several of the subjects also present in the hotel room, taking cash
from the wallets. Apparently when the
victims objected the suspects said they could all go back to the casino and
reinvest the money. Upon entry into the
parking area the suspects got into a vehicle and fled the scene. According to the be on the lookout that was issued around 5am, this
morning, the vehicle was described as a Gold 1989 Honda 4 door registered out
of Stockton. The Amador Co. Sheriff’s Office said that they have identified the
suspects from Stockton, and the victims who are form the Sacramento area,
however a further investigation is in progress.
