In November Jackson Fire responded to 11 fire related calls, 13 traffic accidents, 52 medical calls, one Hazardous material call and 8 public assists. The total number of calls – 85- that’s an average of 2.8 per day. The running yearly total also shows a dramatic increase in calls for 2006 above 2005 numbers. This year, so far, the Jackson Fire Department has responded to 790 calls and that is a 20 percent increase over 2005.
