Sacramento Man Arrested For Molestation In Amador County
Because Amador County is a
popular tourist designation, local law enforcement must often become involved
in crimes that occur here when victims and perpetrators visit. That was the case this weekend
when on Saturday, June 2, 2007 the Amador County Sheriff's Office was notified
by the Sacramento Police Department of an allegation from a minor that he was
molested by an acquaintance while camping in Amador County.
The alleged incident took place over the Memorial Day
weekend at the Indian Grinding Rock State Park, Pine Grove, CA. Both the minor and suspect
reside in the City of Sacramento. The Sacramento Police Department continued
the investigation and arrested Richard Toby Tinoco, 29, of Sacramento in the City of Sacramento for
288(a) PC Lewd or lascivious acts involving children. Richard Tinoco was booked into the Amador
County Jail with bail set at $500.000.00. The incident is still
currently being investigated by the Amador County Sheriff's Office and
Sacramento Police Department. According to the Sacramento Police Department
Tinoco is a Sacramento area Little Coach and registered sex offender. However,
he is not required to register on Megan’s List according to the Sacramento
Police.
