Subsequent to an investigation Wilson was arrested for DUI and Blease and
Campa were arrested for public intoxication. All three were booked into the
Calaveras Jail, Campa and Blease served 6 hours in jail and were cited and
released. Wilson
was held in lieu of $10,000 bail. Next up was Dirk Anthony Caviglia and Ruby
Fawn Jeff. The pair were arrested at a Jeff's residence in West
Point. Jeff was arrested for a Parole Violation at the request of
her Parole Officer. Caviglia was arrested after a foot pursuit ensued. Caviglia
attempted to avoid arrest, however was chased and caught approximately 100
yards from where he began running. Caviglia was booked for a parole violation
as well. Caviglia and Jeff are being held without bail. During these arrests
Robert Ray Gurion was contacted and issued a citation for possession of less
than one ounce of marijuana. Dane Allen Casey was arrested after evading Deputies in West
Point. Casey was driving his Truck through West
Point when Deputies attempted to stop his Dodge Power Wagon Truck
for having expired registration over two years. Casey did not stop and
continued down hwy 26 to Bald
Mountain road. Casey sped
up to approximately 55 MPH on Bald
Mountain Road and onto Acorn way where he stopped
for Deputies.
He was taken into custody for evading Deputies and possession of
a hypodermic needle. Casey is being held at the Calaveras jail in lieu of $1
0,000 bail. Wanda Noelle Eubanks was arrested at her residence on Bald Mountain Road
during a probation search of the residence. Deputies discovered Eubanks was
smoking Marijuana and discovered that she had been smoking methamphetamine
earlier that day. Eubanks was arrested for being under the influence and child
endangerment. Eubanks was treated at Mark
Twain Hospital
prior to being booked. Eubanks is being held at the Calaveras Jail in lieu of
$1 00,000 bail. Stephen Richard Gommeringer was contacted at his residence in West Point during a probation search. Subsequent to a
search of his residence a hypodermic needle was located. Gommeringer admitted
to using methamphetamine earlier in the day with the needle. Gommeringer was
cited for possession of a hypodermic needle.

Calaveras Probation Sting
Last week Calaveras County Sheriffs Department Detectives,
Narcotics and Probation Departments teamed up with Agents from California
Department of Corrections and Alcohol Beverage Control and conducted
Probation searches and parolee contacts. Caught up in the sting operation were
several West Point residents. Michael Blaine
Alec was arrested at his residence on Blue
Mountain Road in West Point for felony probation
violations and misdemeanor probation violations out of Calaveras County.
He is currently being held without bail. One of Calaveras
County’s most wanted was
also apprehended. Manual Alex Ramirez was arrested at his residence on Matson Lane in West Point. Ramirez was taken into custody for felony
arrest warrants from Calaveras County for identity theft, and warrants out of Amador County
for Driving on a suspended Drivers License. Ramirez is being held on the
Calaveras warrants and has a bail of $30,000. During the sting operation
Deputies contacted Lawrence Edwin Wilson who was sitting in a running white Pontiac sedan in the
middle of Winton road. Upon contact with Wilson
it was obvious that he was under the influence as well as his two passengers
George Brian Blease and Pete Campa.
