This year’s Health Festival was considered a huge success despite the gray weather. Saturday and Sunday proved sunnier for attendees of the Organ Rally in Sutter Creek. The organs lined the street with music this weekend for the first ever Organ Rally in the County.
John Motto-Ros the International President of the Automatic Musical Instrument Collectors' or AMICA, said that while these events are popular in other areas of the State Amador County had yet to see an event of this kind- so he invited the Southern California chapter of AMICA, to conduct the first ever Organ Rally. Motto-Ros commented on the successful event. “We think it is a happy event a fun event, and we hear comments (from attendees that) they would like to bring the rally back again next year.” He added that, “It is a good event for the City and we need to advertise it more so we can do it again next year.”
