Home for the Holidays Update

Now it’s time for TSPN’s Home for the Holidays series – featuring fun, free or low cost activities for the whole family to enjoy right here in Amador County, now through New Years Day! Here’s a look at activities coming up this week:

Come join your friends and neighbors for Christmas caroling tonight, December 11th at 7pm at the Jackson United Methodist Church and raise your voices in holiday song. There will be hot cider and cookies afterwards. All are welcome.

 


Amador High School Musical Theatre continues to present “Seussical” in the Fine Arts Theatre at Amador High School. This musical extravaganza runs: Tuesday and Thursday December 11th and 13th at 6:30, and Friday December 14th at 7 pm. These performances have an admission charge of $8. Amador High School Advanced Drama proudly presents “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” for its annual Children’s Holiday Entertainment. Shows are performed at different locations. The next two performances are in the Fine Arts Theater at Amador High In Sutter Creek on Wednesday December 12th at 10:30 am and Saturday December 15th at 1pm. The show closes with a performance at the Jackson Rancheria Hotel ballroom on Sunday December 16th at 12pm. There is no admission charge and the program includes caroling and a visit from St. Nick. Sheriff Martin Ryan, the Red Hats Pompous Princesses of Pioneer and Winers and Diners invite you to a Red Hat Christmas in Toyland luncheon on December 13 at the  Jackson Rancheria to support the Sheriff’s annual Christmas Toy Drive. Bring unwrapped, new toys to Ballroom A at 11:30 for no-host cocktails and buffet luncheon. Tickets are $25. Make reservations by calling Vice Queen Jo-anne Caivano at 295-7515.
