Burglary Suspects
The
Jackson Police have arrested two suspects in a
string of theft and burglary cases across Northern
California. On
February 8, Officers Courtney and Collins responded to a suspicious vehicle in
the 900 block of North Main Street
in Jackson.
Upon arrival, the officers observed the vehicle had no license plates. The
female occupant told the officers she did not have identification but
identified herself as Heather Ketcher.
Earlier
that morning, Collins
had contact with a stranded female named Tiffani Hill who stated her
friend had left her behind in Jackson.
The officers later confirmed that the two women were friends. After checking
the vehicle for identification, officers discovered twenty-five pieces of mail from various addresses on North Main Street,
a briefcase with the logo “ Manteca Ambulance District”, and a pay stub
with an unknown name. Police contacted the owners of the briefcase and pay stub
who indicated that their vehicles had been burglarized. Ketcher and Hill are
suspects in cases involving the Manteca Police Department, Contra Costa
Sheriff’s Office, San Joaquin Sheriff’s Office, and Calaveras County Sheriff’s
Office.
