(Pioneer) A Classic Car/Hot Rod Show and 60’s Movie fund raiser is planned for Friday, October 3rd, from 3:30 to 9pm “on the green” at Mace Meadows Golf Course in Pioneer. Amador Upcountry Rotary Club will use the funds to support local community service projects, including helping upcountry seniors, youth, Boy Scouts, Little League, and the Food Bank. Kelly Wolin, President of the Amador Upcountry Rotary Club said, “This is a wonderful way to have fun and support upcountry community service projects for our local youth and seniors.” Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, popcorn, root beer floats and tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be available. Wearing 50’s attire will get you 3 free $1 raffle tickets. “American Graffiti,” the movie, starts at 7pm. Chairs will be provided, but bring comfortable ones if you have’em. Visitor parking is $5. The exhibitor fee is $35 per car; $40 the day of the event.
