Gourd Ornament Class to Benefit Friends of the Amador County Library October 25

The Amador Gourd Artists will be holding the third annual Gourd Ornament Workshop on Saturday, October 25, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Amador County Agricultural Department at 12200B Airport Road in Jackson.
There will be three gourd art projects, which will last two hours each.  Participants will be able to take three different pieces of work home with them at the end of the day. Participants should wear work clothes and/or aprons to protect them from paint.  Participants also need to bring a lunch; a lunch break is scheduled and classes following it will restart promptly on the hour.
The cost of the class is $30, not including materials. Proceeds from the program support the Friends of the Amador County Library.  To enroll, send a check for $30 made payable to “Friends of the Amador County Library” to: FACL Gourd Class, P.O. Box 701, Jackson, CA 95642 prior to the beginning of class.
A materials and supplies fee of $15 will be collected at the Ag Dept. on the day of the event.
There is room for 24 students. Reservations for class are on a first come, first served basis.
