How do we manage vegetation that is vulnerable to wildfire as well as protect our air quality for residents?

 Anyone in Amador County who is interested in learning more about control of vegetative yard waste is invited to a public meeting organized by District 3 Supervisor Lynn Morgan on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00pm at the Veteran’s Hall at 21500 Buckhorn Ridge Road in Pioneer.

She will host a panel with representatives from the Amador Fire Safe Council, Amador County Air Resources and Solid Waste Management Agency, Amador Public Health Department, CALFIRE, Amador Fire Protection, and the US Forest Service. They will discuss the issues and possible solutions that revolve around yard waste and its management.
