In her current assignment, she manages the County’s risk management, information technology, and communications divisions.  She also headed the General Services Department of the County which performed budgetary and fiscal analyses in support of the financial activities of that department.  Kim has been employed by Humboldt County since 1995. The City Council is proud to announce this appointment.  Kim Kerr has a solid management background and is a strong leader and will prove to be a real asset to the City of Ione as it faces many growth and financial challenges in the next few years.  She will initially be employed under a five year contract with a two year renewal option.
