Another Amador County Banked Robbed

slide2Amador County authorities are searching for the bank robber that robbed the Bank of Lodi Friday afternoon in Plymouth and now they have some help- the entire crime was captured on surveillance video according to Amador County Sheriff's Department authorities. Last Friday December 8, 2006 at approximately 3:26 pm, the Amador County Sheriff’s Office received an emergency call from the Bank of Lodi, located at 9454 Main Street, Plymouth.  A teller reported that the bank had been robbed and the suspect fled on foot. Amador County Sheriff’s Deputies and Investigators responded.

slide3The surrounding areas were checked, while additional personnel began the scene investigation. The suspect was reported to be a white male adult, in his twenties, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, medium build, with blond hair, blue eyes, clean shaven, no accent and no visible scars, marks or tattoos.  He was reportedly wearing a dark color baseball cap, blue wind breaker, white shirt, blue denim pants and black and white shoes. The suspect reportedly entered the bank and provided a teller with a note stating he was armed with a gun and demanding money. No firearm was displayed or observed.  The suspect received an undisclosed amount of currency and fled the bank northbound on foot.

slide4An air unit from the California Highway Patrol and an investigator from the Amador County District Attorney’s Office also assisted with the area check. Surveillance cameras from the Bank of Lodi captured the attached images and video of the suspect.  Anyone with any information regarding this crime or the identity of this suspect is asked to contact the Amador County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 223-6500.
